Biography
Dr. Paolo Del Poggio is a hepatologist at the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Unit of the Policlinico San Marco and of the Centro Diagnostico di Treviglio.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1976 from the University of Pavia and later specialized in Diseases of the Digestive System in 1980 at the University of Milan.
Dr. Del Poggio began his career at Policlinico San Marco in 2012, where he currently serves as the Head of the Hepatology Clinic.
He is the co-author of numerous international publications indexed in Medline and has been a speaker at various national and international hepatology conferences.
Dr. Del Poggio has coordinated clinical research projects in the field of hepatocellular carcinoma surveillance and basic hepatology.
