Biography
Dr. Angelo Lodi Rizzini is a cardiologist at the Clinical, Interventional Cardiology, and Coronary Intensive Care Unit of IRCCS Policlinico San Donato. He also works at Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Parma in 1988 and specialized in Cardiology at the same university in 1993.
In 1989, he served as a Medical Officer in the military. In 1993, he held a substitute position as a cardiologist in the Neonatology and Pediatric Cardiology Unit at Spedali Civili in Brescia.
From 1994 to 2016, he served as a Cardiologist at the Cardiology Unit of Crema Hospital, working in:
- Clinical cardiology
- Diagnostic cardiology (level I and II echocardiography; pediatric echo; stress echo; transesophageal echo)
- Interventional cardiology since 1999 (coronary angiography; primary and elective angioplasty)
Since 2000, he has been continuously collaborating with the HTN Telemedicine Network in Brescia.
Since May 2016, he has been a cardiologist at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, focusing mainly on clinical and diagnostic cardiology.
Since 2016, he also collaborates with Istituti Clinici Zucchi, performing on-call duties, specialist consultations, and clinical and diagnostic activities.
Dr. Rizzini has published 60 articles in national journals on various topics, including stress echo and coronary anomalies.
