Valentina Canti
Biography
Dr. Valentina Canti is a clinical immunologist at the General Medicine Unit focusing on metabolic health and aging at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2009 from the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele, where she specialized in Allergology and Clinical Immunology in 2017.
During her specialization training, she spent time at the Burlo Garofalo Pediatric Hospital in Trieste, attending the Pediatric Rheumatology Outpatient Clinic.
Dr. Canti works in Clinical Immunology within the General Medicine Unit focusing on metabolic health and aging at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele. In particular, she manages the Pregnancy Pathology and Recurrent Miscarriage Outpatient Clinic in cooperation with obstetric gynecologists and the Birth Center. She also manages the Inflammatory Myopathies Outpatient Clinic in cooperation with the Clinical Neurology department. Her clinical research focuses on Pregnancy Pathology.
She is the author and co-author of over 50 publications in leading international journals (h-index 23). She actively participates in national and international congresses in her field and is involved in the gender medicine group and the anti-phospholipid antibody syndrome group of the Italian Society of Rheumatology.
