Biography

Professor Tiziano Testori is a surgeon at the University Dental Center of the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio.

He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan in 1981. In 1984, he received a specialization in odontostomatology, and in 1986 he also received a specialization in orthodontics, both with honors.

At the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio, he heads the Department of Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation at Clinica Odontoiatrica under the supervision of Professor Luca Francetti.

He is currently Associate Professor of Implant Surgery at the University of Milan and Associate Professor, Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine, University of Michigan, School of Dentistry, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48109-1078, USA.

He qualified as a Group I and II Professor at the National Science Qualification Competition in 2012.

Prof. Testori is Past President (2017-2018) of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO), Italian Academy of Implantology and Section Editor: Clinical Concepts for the International Journal of Oral Implantology (IJOI), Quintessence Publishing, Hannover Park, Illinois (USA).

He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants (IJOMI), Quintessence Publishing Co, Inc, Illinois (USA), and of the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry (IJPRD), Quintessence Publishing Co, Inc, Illinois (USA); he is scientific director of the journal Quintessenza Internazionale & Jomi (Quintessenza Edizioni Milano).

Prof. Testori is also the author of 3 books on implantology, translated into English (Ed. Quintessence Publishing Co, Berlin), and 128 scientific articles indexed in PubMed.
