Stefano Riboldi
Biography
Dr. Stefano Riboldi is the Head of the Hip and Knee Prosthetic Surgery Unit II at the Istituto Clinico San Siro.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan Bicocca in 2005 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology with honors in 2010 at G. Pini Hospital (University of Milan).
After specializing in Milan at the G. Pini and Multimedica facilities, he was immediately hired by the latter, where he spent five years performing hip, knee, and arthroscopic sports surgery.
From 2005 to 2010, he served as team doctor for the Olimpia Milano basketball team.
Since 2014, he has been an orthopedic surgeon and team doctor for Sanga Basket, a women’s basketball team in Italy's Serie A, as well as for other amateur soccer and rugby clubs.
In 2023, he became the orthopedic surgeon and team doctor for Social Osa Basket Milano in Serie B.
Since 2016, he has been working at Istituto Clinico San Siro, specializing in hip and knee prosthetic surgery using minimally invasive techniques, knee arthroscopy, and treating meniscal and ligament injuries.
Throughout his career, he has maintained a strong interest in prosthetic surgery and sports traumatology.
