Stefano Bignotti

Dott. Stefano Bignotti is an ophthalmologist at the Ophthalmology Unit of the Istituto Clinico San Rocco.

He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 2016. He obtained his medical license at the same university and was registered with the Brescia Medical Association in 2017. In the same year, he won the national competition for the Ophthalmology specialization program at the University of Brescia, where he completed his specialization in 2022 with top marks and honors.

During his specialization training, Dr. Bignotti focused on various clinical areas, with a particular interest in corneal diseases, ocular surface disorders, and anterior segment conditions. After his specialization, he continued to deepen his knowledge in these areas by attending national reference centers.

His professional activities mainly involve general ophthalmology, cataract surgery, corneal diseases, glaucoma, retinal and vitreoretinal pathologies, intravitreal injections, and Argon and YAG laser treatments.

Dr. Bignotti is the author and co-author of scientific publications in international journals and has also been a speaker at national and international conferences.
