Sonia Palmieri

Dr. Sonia Palmieri is an ophthalmologist at the Ophthalmology Unit of the Policlinico San Marco, Smart Clinic, and the Policlinico San Pietro, where she also performs surgical procedures (such as cataract surgery). He also works at the Centro Diagnostico di Treviglio.

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2002 and specialized in Ophthalmology in 2006, part of which was completed at the Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.

In the following years, she continued her professional training by participating in numerous national and international conferences and attending a Master’s program in Forensic Ophthalmology at the University La Sapienza in Rome (2014).

She has served as a speaker and moderator at various national and international conferences.

Additionally, she is the author and co-author of numerous scientific articles published in both popular and specialized journals, as well as book chapters, including one in French.
