Silvia Calebich
Biography
Dr. Silvia Calebich is an internist and diabetologist in the Internal Medicine Unit at Istituto Clinico San Rocco.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery with honors from the University of Brescia in 1989. In the same year, she obtained her medical license and registered with the Medical Board of the Province of Brescia.
Dr. Calebich completed her specialization in Internal Medicine in 1994.
She is the coordinator of the Diabetes Ambulatory at Istituto Clinico San Rocco, where she organized the clinic, identified the diabetic team, and implemented the clinic's informatic system.
She developed a protocol for managing both outpatient and hospitalized diabetic patients. Additionally, Dr. Calebich has been involved in training courses for chronic disease management and communication courses focused on therapeutic education, emotion management, and effective communication.
She has also participated as an expert in numerous diabetology workshops for AMD (Associazione Medici Diabetologi) and SID (Società Italiana di Diabetologia).
