Rosa Baschiera

Rosa Baschiera is an orthopedic surgeon in the Department of Operative Spine Surgery of the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi .

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in 1988 at the University of Genoa, where she also received a specialization in orthopedics in 1993.

In 1996, she received the position of Medical Director at the Department of Orthopedics of the Ospedale Galliera in Genoa since November. Since 1999, she has been the permanent Head of the Spine Surgery Department at the ospedale Santa Corona in Pietra Ligura.

Since 2018, he joins Dr. Bassani's team at Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi, where he conducts outpatient and research activities.

In particular, Dr. Baschiera specializes in spinal surgery for the treatment of deformities. He also deals with degenerative, traumatic, infectious and tumor pathologies.
