Biography
Dr. Roberto Arnone is an ophthalmologist at the Visual Wellness Center of Palazzo della Salute-Wellness Clinic.
After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2003 from the University of Pavia, he specialized with honors in Ophthalmology in 2007 at the same institution.
Since 2008, he has served as Deputy Medical Director at the Ophthalmology Unit of Istituto Clinico Sant’Ambrogio, and since 2020, he has been working as an ophthalmologist at the Visual Wellness Center of Palazzo della Salute-Wellness Clinic.
Dr. Arnone was a University Researcher from 2008 to 2009 at the University of Pavia, holding a Research Fellowship titled "Anatomical-Functional Results in Macular Vitreoretinal Surgery."
He specializes in medical therapy, laser treatment, and intravitreal therapy for the retina, and has performed over 3,000 anterior segment eye surgeries as the Lead Surgeon and more than 12,000 surgeries as the Assistant across various types of ophthalmic surgery.
He is a member of several scientific societies, including the SSO (Swiss Society of Ophthalmology), SAoO (Swiss Academy of Ophthalmology), SOI (Italian Ophthalmological Society), and SOL (Lombard Ophthalmological Society).
