Roberta Spreafico
Biography
Dr. Roberta Spreafico is a psychologist in the Palliative Care Unit of Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Carate Brianza, working within the hospice and home care services. She also conducts consultations in the psychology clinics located in Carate Brianza, Monza, and Brugherio. She also collaborates with Smart Clinic.
After obtaining her Master's degree in Clinical and Community Psychology in 2000 from the University of Padua, with a thesis in criminology, she specialized in Clinical Psychology with a focus on pain therapy in 2005.
Dr. Spreafico gained initial experience at health districts and family counseling centers in the province of Monza and Brianza, collaborating with the Juvenile Court and at the IRCCS San Gerardo in Monza.
Since 2002, after passing the state examination, she has worked at Istituti Clinici Zucchi, where she has acquired extensive experience as a psychologist in palliative care, both in the hospice and at home, as well as with patients in the Unit for Severe Brain Injuries.
From 2006 to 2020, she collaborated with the units of senology, oncology, and wound care at the Monza facility.
Dr. Spreafico provides psychological consultations through the National Health Service as well as in private practice. Specifically, she specializes in:

- Post-traumatic stress disorder
- Behavioral disorders: substance use, eating disorders, sexual disorders

- Couples therapy for separations and detachments
- Family dynamics issues
- Workplace conflicts and challenges
Additionally, Dr. Spreafico collaborates as a forensic psychologist with territorial services and law enforcement in the provinces of Monza and Brianza and Bologna, as well as with Juvenile Justice Centers and the Judicial Police.
In 2024, she began a Master’s program in "Investigative Criminology, Criminal Profiling, Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychology Applied to Sex Offenders" at the CSI Academy Srl in partnership with the International Academy of Forensic Sciences (AISF), directed by Dr. Roberta Bruzzone.
Moreover, Dr. Spreafico provides psychological support with LILT volunteers in the hospice and at the Italian Laryngectomees Association (AILAR) in Desio Hospital.
