Pierluigi Brambilla
Biography
Dr. Pierluigi Brambilla is an ophthalmologist at the Ophthalmology Unit of Policlinico San Marco.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1980 and specialized in Ophthalmology at the same university in 1984.
Early in his career, Dr. Brambilla worked as a general practitioner in the province of Milan and later as an ophthalmologist at several hospitals in the area. He also served as an ophthalmology specialist on disability assessment commissions for over 10 years at the ASL of Vimercate.
Additionally, he held a position of responsibility at the Glaucoma Center in a Vimercate hospital.
His collaboration with the San Donato Group began in 2003, initially working at the Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza and Policlinico San Pietro. Since 2007, he has been working at Policlinico San Marco, primarily focusing on surgical activities and laser therapy.
Dr. Brambilla has performed over 15,000 microsurgery and laser therapy procedures.
He is also a lecturer in ophthalmology for the general practice specialization course in Monza.
In addition to his clinical work, he has conducted clinical research, collaborating with the Nephrology department on hereditary and familial diseases.
