Dr. Gifuni has extensive experience in treating sports-related injuries (ACL tears, meniscal and cartilage injuries, etc.), using both traditional and arthroscopic techniques. He gained this expertise initially as part of the staff of the Italian Winter Sports Federation and later as the Medical Director for the Italian American Football Federation's national team.
His experience in sports medicine has allowed him to approach degenerative pathologies of the hip and knee with a critical eye, seeking innovations backed by scientific data.

From 2016 to 2018, he held a professorship in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Ostrava University for the Physiotherapy program. In 2017, he became Co-Head of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit I at Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza, and since December 2018, he has been responsible for the hospital admissions activity.
