Biography
Dr. Monica Cattoli is a gynecologist at the Reproductive Medicine Center of Policlinico San Pietro.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 1988 and subsequently specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University G. D'Annunzio in Chieti in 1992.
In 1989, she won the Serono Award for the best experimental work ever published.
Dr. Cattoli’s main areas of interest are couple infertility and the use of assisted reproductive technologies. She has acquired significant experience in gynecological ultrasound techniques, including ultrasound and hormonal monitoring of ovarian stimulation.
She is skilled in ultrasound-guided oocyte retrieval, ultrasound-guided transvaginal cyst aspiration, and performs diagnostic laparoscopy, diagnostic hysteroscopy, and semen analysis.
Additionally, Dr. Cattoli manages a culture laboratory for assisted reproduction techniques.
