Marisa Pasqualina Camassa
Biography
Dr. Marisa Pasqualina Camassa is the Head of the General Medicine Unit at Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1974 and specialized in Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases and in Liver Diseases and Metabolism at the same university.
Her specific areas of interest are Pneumology and Hepatology. In terms of advancing her expertise in Hepatology, she has participated in research groups organized by the University of Milan in collaboration with hospitals in the Lombardy region.
Her contributions have been published in specialized scientific journals, including the Periodico dell'Istituto Dermatologico Europeo, Minerva Gastroenterologica e Dietologica, Check-Up, and Journal of Hepatology. She is a speaker at conferences and continuing education courses focusing on Hepatology and Internal Medicine. Additionally, since 1982, she has been a member of the Italian Association for the Study of the Liver (AISF) and, since 2006, of the Italian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (SIUMB).
