Maria del Carmen Nava Herrera

Dr. Maria del Carmen Nava Herrera is a gynecologist at Smart Clinic.

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in 1983 and specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 1989 at the same institution. She later obtained a super-specialization in gynecologic oncology.

From 1992 to 1997, she attended the National Cancer Institute of Milan as a research fellow.

In 1995, she earned a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan, and in 2007, she completed her specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics.

She has been a lecturer for courses on breast cancer and is an active member of the Mexican Society of Senology.

Over the years, she has furthered her training and expertise in gynecological ultrasound and has become an expert in colposcopy and lower genital tract pathology.

Dr. Nava Herrera is the author and co-author of scientific articles and has participated in numerous national and international conferences and training courses, also as a speaker. She is a member of the International Ovarian Tumor Analysis (IOTA).
