Manuela Moscato
Biography
Dr. Manuela Moscato is an orthopedic surgeon at Villa Erbosa and Villa Chiara in Bologna.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1987 from the University of Bologna, and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same institution in 1992. During her specialization years, she attended the 5th division of the IOR (Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute), directed by Professor Mario Campanacci.
Dr. Moscato was also awarded a research grant by the Ministry of Universities, Scientific Research, and Technological Development, focusing on reconstructive techniques following bone resection for malignant tumors in the lower limbs.
Currently, she specializes in degenerative diseases of the limbs and spine.
She has been involved in various research areas and projects related to bone tumors and rare diseases with severe spinal disorders. She was awarded a research contract at the Istituti Ortopedici Rizzoli.
Dr. Moscato is the author of approximately 90 publications, some of which are available on PubMed.
She regularly participates in numerous national and international conferences, both as a speaker and co-speaker.
