Luigi Domanico
Biography
Dr. Luigi Domanico is an assistant surgeon in the Urology Unit at Policlinico San Pietro and a consultant urologist at Casa di Cura La Madonnina in Milan.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Magna Græcia in Catanzaro in 2015. In 2021, he completed his specialization in Urology with honors at Humanitas University in Milan.
Dr. Domanico has substantial surgical experience in urological tumors (prostate, kidney, bladder, testicle), urinary stones, and urinary disorders (LUTS). He has also gained experience in the diagnosis and treatment of andrological conditions.
He performs endourological procedures, laparoscopic-robotic surgery, and minimally invasive surgery. To date, he has completed over 2,000 surgical interventions.
Throughout his career, he has also developed expertise in prostate ultrasound, ultrasound-guided prostate biopsies with fusion technology (ecoMRI), penile (both basal and dynamic) and scrotal ultrasound, and flexible cystoscopy.
Dr. Domanico is involved in clinical research, resulting in numerous scientific publications, primarily focusing on oncological urology (prostate and bladder cancers) and new diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
He participates annually in national and international congresses, often as a speaker, contributing numerous scientific papers. He is a member of the EAU (European Association of Urology) and the SIU (Italian Society of Urology).
