Biography

Dr. Luca Marinoni is an orthopedic surgeon in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit, specializing in Prosthetic Surgery and Reconstructive Arthroscopy of Major Joints at the Istituto Clinico Villa Aprica. He also collaborates with the Smart Clinic 2000 in Cantù.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2002 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2007.

From 2007 to 2008, he served as a Medical Officer in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit at Sant’Anna Hospital in Como. From 2008 to 2015, he worked as a Medical Officer at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit of the Legnano Hospital. From 2015 to 2018, he was a Medical Officer in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit at the Valle Olona Territorial Social-Healthcare Company (ASST) in Saronno. Since 2018, he has been a Medical Officer in the Prosthetic and Reconstructive Arthroscopic Surgery Unit for Major Joints at the Istituto Clinico Villa Aprica in Como.

From 2007 to 2008, he served as a doctor for the Italian Winter Sports Federation (F.I.S.I.).

For years, Dr. Marinoni has focused primarily on arthroscopic and prosthetic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder, with particular attention to osteoarthritis and sports-related injuries. He employs state-of-the-art materials and therapies, using cutting-edge surgical techniques. His treatments also include infiltrative and, when possible, regenerative therapies.

He has authored several scientific publications in orthopedics and actively participates in conferences and training events to update and enhance surgical techniques. Dr. Marinoni promotes and organizes informative events on major orthopedic and sports traumatology conditions.
