Livio Paulin

Dr. Livio Paulin is a specialist in pain management at the Istituto di Cura Città di Pavia.

In 1979, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia, where he also completed specializations in Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and Pain Therapy in 1982, and in Pharmacology with a focus on Toxicology in 1987. For four years, he was a contract professor of Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and Pain Therapy, as well as First Aid at the Occupational Therapy Course at the University of Pavia.

He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain through pharmacological therapies, regional infiltration, or minimally invasive surgery, based on a pain assessment and a case-by-case evaluation of patients suffering from pain.

Since 1980, he has continuously attended various professional training courses and participated as a speaker at national and international scientific conferences and congresses, and has published over 90 scientific papers and two books.
