Johnny Cappiello
Biography
Dr. Johnny Cappiello is the Head of the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Unit at the Istituto Clinico S. Anna in Brescia. After graduating in Medicine and Surgery, he specialized in ENT at the University of Brescia in 1990.
He has been involved in significant research groups, including a project funded by the National Research Council (CNR) on the clinical applications of oncological research (1991-1994). Between 1995 and 2012, Dr. Cappiello led 11 research projects funded by the Ministry of University and Research. From 2000 to 2006, he collaborated with the Department of Dentistry at the University of Brescia.
His research results have been published in 30 national and international journals, 50 abstracts in conference proceedings, 17 book chapters and official reports from the Italian Society of Otolaryngology and Cervicofacial Surgery (SIOeChCF), and 90 conference presentations. He has also participated in 95 continuing education courses both in Italy and abroad.
Dr. Cappiello is a member of prominent associations such as the Italian Society of Otolaryngology and Cervicofacial Surgery and the Italian Society of Microsurgery.
