Isabella Reccia
Biography
Dr. Isabella Reccia has been a general surgeon at the General Surgery Unit of Policlinico San Pietro since 2021.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cagliari in 2008 and specialized in General Surgery in 2015. From 2015 to 2021, she worked in the Hepato-biliary-pancreatic Surgery Unit at Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College London, UK. Her training includes the European Diploma in "Hepatic Pancreatic and Biliary Cancers - Oncosurgical Strategies" from the Hepato-Biliary Center at Hôpital Paul Brousse in Paris.
In 2021, she earned a second-level Master’s degree in Global Health Policy from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
Throughout her career, she has gained professional and training experience in hospitals across England, Italy, and France. Additionally, she is the author and co-author of several international scientific publications and has presented and participated in numerous conferences, courses, seminars, research projects, and clinical trials.
