Ileana Albani
Biography
Dr. Ileana Albani is the Medical Director of Istituto Clinico San Siro.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1989 and specialized in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine with a focus on Epidemiology and Public Health in 1995.
In 2009, she participated in the managerial training course for General, Medical, Administrative, and Social Directors at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. In 2015, she completed a second-level Master's program at the University of Pavia, qualifying as a Competent Physician.
In 2017, she attended training courses at the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan for the renewal of the managerial certification from the Lombardy Region.
She is listed among the eligible candidates for the role of Medical Director in the Lombardy Region.
Throughout her career, she has held positions as Deputy Medical Director and Medical Director at several institutions, including IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, Casa di Cura “E. Morelli” in Pavia, Istituto Clinico Sant’Ambrogio in Milan, Casa di Cura Città di Milano, and IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi in Milan.
She is the author and co-author of about twenty articles published in national and international journals and actively participates in various congresses and training courses.
