Biography
Dr. Ilaria Polenghi is a Consultant Psychologist, Specialist in Clinical Psychology, working in the Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology Service at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele Turro.
In 2018, she graduated in Psychological Sciences and Techniques from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, where she also obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2020.
In 2021, she completed a Master's in Sport Psychology (MAPS – Center for Studies and Training in Sport Psychology in Milan), and in 2025, she will complete her specialization in Clinical Psychology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.
Clinically, Dr. Polenghi works with adolescents, focusing in particular on individual psychological support pathways.
In the hospital setting, she provides psychological consultations in the Pediatrics department, offering support to the families of young patients, with particular attention to emotional and relational aspects related to the management of chronic conditions such as Type 1 Diabetes and other pediatric illnesses, from a health psychology perspective.
Between 2024 and 2025, she is a Research Fellow at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan.
She has contributed and continues to contribute to several research projects in the field of Developmental and Educational Psychology alongside colleagues from the Child in Mind Lab group at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.
