Hassan Bahja
Biography
Dr. Hassan Bahja is an ophthalmologist at the Ophthalmology Unit of Istituto Clinico San Rocco and Istituto Clinico Sant'Anna in Brescia.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 2013. In 2019, he completed his specialization in Ophthalmology at the same university.
During his specialization, Dr. Bahja enriched his knowledge and skills through international experiences. He spent two months at the prestigious Mount Sinai NYEE Hospital in New York, USA, focusing primarily on the Retina service. Additionally, he completed a one-and-a-half-month observership within the NHS in the UK, attending retina services at three hospitals in Liverpool, Bristol, and Cheltenham.
Dr. Bahja is involved in both outpatient and surgical activities. As an ophthalmologist, he conducts outpatient visits and instrumental exams for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases, providing specialized care to patients. He actively participates in surgical procedures, ranging from low to high complexity, offering surgical solutions for various ocular issues.
He is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts and refractive errors such as myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism, and presbyopia. He also manages vitreoretinal conditions, including:

He has participated in numerous national and international congresses and is co-author of publications in international scientific journals.
