Giuseppina Barbella
Biography
Dr. Giuseppina Barbella is a neurologist at Policlinico San Marco.
In 2014, she graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. In 2019, she completed her specialization in Neurology, also with honors, at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
Over the years, Dr. Barbella has honed her skills, obtaining certifications in Electroencephalography and Evoked Potentials from the Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (SINC), a diploma in Advanced Pediatric Electroencephalography from the University of Tor Vergata, and later a certification in Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring from SINC.
Throughout her career, which spans various hospitals in Lombardy, Dr. Barbella's work has focused on interpreting electroencephalograms for adults and children, performing electromyographies, multimodal evoked potentials, and conducting outpatient consultations, particularly in neurology and epilepsy.
She has achieved the title of Fellow of the European Board of Neurology (FEBN) by passing the corresponding examination under the European Academy of Neurology (EAN).
Dr. Barbella is a co-author of numerous publications in international scientific journals. She participates annually in national and international conferences.
