Giovanni Catuogno
Biography
Dr. Giovanni Catuogno is an ultrasound specialist at the Imaging Diagnostics Service of Villa Erbosa and Villa Chiara in Bologna.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 1981 and went on to specialize in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy in 1985, as well as in Internal Medicine in 1990.
Dr. Catuogno performs ultrasound examinations and has obtained advanced diplomas in this field. Over his career, he has developed significant expertise across various areas, having personally conducted and reported on more than 70,000 examinations.
In the early years of his career, Dr. Catuogno focused on research, particularly in oncology and the screening of pre-neoplastic conditions.
He actively participates in national and international conferences in his field.
