Giovanni Biondo

Dr. Giovanni Biondo is a dermatologist at the Istituto Dermoclinico Vita Cutis at the Palazzo della Salute – Wellness Clinic and Smart Clinic.

In 2013, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Free Universidad Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan. In 2019, he specialized with honors in dermatology and venereology at the University of Palermo with a thesis on: "Studying the relevance and diagnostic accuracy of teledermatology in the diagnosis and evaluation of patients suffering from skin tumors and inflammatory skin diseases".

During his studies, he developed special skills in diagnosing dermatological diseases such as vitiligo, psoriasis, skin allergies, dermatological surgery, and gained solid experience in performing related procedures (phototherapy, video dermatoscopy, photodynamic and laser therapy). Over the years, he has also gained extensive experience in dermatological clinics specializing in the treatment of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer.

He cooperates with numerous European dermatological departments, such as the University Clinic of Helsinki and the University Clinic of Graz in Austria.
