Gianandrea Bellini

Biography

Dr. Gianandrea Bellini has been working at the Istituto Clinico San Rocco since 2018, where he collaborates with Dr. Lasagna's Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 2009, where he also completed his specialization in Sports Medicine in 2016.

Over the years, he has gained experience in managing internal medicine, physiatric, orthopedic, and cardiological conditions while working at the hospitals of Spedali Civili in Brescia and Montichiari, the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo, and the Rehabilitation Center of Fondazione Don Gnocchi in Rovato.

Since 2011, he has been a member of the Italian Sports Medicine Federation (FMSI), initially as an Associate Member and, since 2016, as a Full Member.

In 2014, he began working as a Team Physician for Atalanta BC's Youth Sector Medical Staff. That same year, he obtained qualifications as a DCO Anti-Doping Physician and a PSS-D Instructor under FMSI guidance.

After completing his specialty training in 2016, Dr. Bellini worked at the "E. Spalenza - Fondazione Don Gnocchi" Rehabilitation Center in Rovato (Brescia), where he served as Head of Orthopedic and Cardio-Respiratory Rehabilitation.

Dr. Bellini's work focuses on sports traumatology, with a particular emphasis on musculoskeletal disorders. He provides appropriate therapeutic pathways through medical, physical, and physiotherapeutic treatments for both professional and amateur athletes.

He is a lecturer for numerous courses organized by the FMSI Lombardy-Bergamo chapter. Dr. Bellini has authored several studies and scientific articles during his specialization, collaborating with the Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology section of the University of Brescia and the Sports Medicine Department of Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo.
