Georges Ghanem

Dr. Georges Ghanem has been the Head of the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Unit - Operating Block at the San Siro Clinical Institute in Milan since October 2000. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1985 from the University of Milan, where he specialized in Anesthesia and Intensive Care in 1988.

From 1988 to 1996, he served as an Assistant and Deputy at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato as an Anesthesiologist in vascular and multi-specialty cardiac surgery. He later became Deputy Chief of the Anesthesia Service for Multi-Specialty and Vascular Surgery at the same institution.

Dr. Ghanem is the author and co-author of several scientific publications, primarily in the fields of Anesthesia, Cardiovascular Intensive Care, and Regional Anesthesia in Vascular Surgery and Orthopedics. He is also a member of prestigious scientific societies, including the Italian Society of Anesthesia, Analgesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care, and the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia.
