Franco Fiorentini
Biography
Dr. Franco Fiorentini is a rheumatologist and physiatrist, currently serving as the head of the Motor Rehabilitation Unit at Istituto Clinico Villa Aprica.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1982. In 1987, he specialized in Rheumatology at the University of Milan, followed by a specialization in Physical and Rehabilitation Therapy from the same university in 1991.
During his studies, he expanded his expertise by attending an Emergency Medicine course taught by Prof. Randazzo, and in 1983, he completed a six-month internship in Internal Medicine at Valduce Hospital in Como.
From 1982 to 1986, he worked at COF Lanzo Intelvi as a ward and emergency room physician.
From 1986 to 1989, he served as an internist in the Rehabilitation Department of Longone al Segrino.
Between 1989 and 1999, he worked at Sant'Anna Hospital in Como as an assistant physician, later advancing to senior positions in the Internal Medicine Department and the Rheumatology Clinic.
From 1999 to 2002, he was an assistant physician in the Rheumatology Department and its associated clinic at IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi.
Since 2002, he has been working at Istituto Clinico Villa Aprica, where he is responsible for the Motor Rehabilitation Unit.
Dr. Fiorentini is involved in:
