Francesco Tentoni
Biography
Dr. Francesco Tentoni is an orthopedic traumatologist at the Orthopedic Unit IX of Villa Erbosa and collaborates with Villa Chiara in Bologna.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2012 from Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2018 at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna, where he particularly focused on hip and knee prosthetic surgery and the treatment of joint and muscular injuries in athletes.
Dr. Tentoni specializes in hip and knee prosthetic surgery and sports traumatology, specifically in the conservative treatment of cartilage degeneration using PRP or adipose stem cell injections.
He also performs surgical treatments for severe osteoarthritis of the hip and knee through the implantation of joint prostheses, as well as treatments for knee joint injuries in athletes, such as meniscal, cartilage, and ligament injuries, and treatments for muscle-tendon injuries in athletes.
He participates in national and international conferences in the field.
