Biography
Dr. Francesco Scullica is an ophthalmologist at the Ophthalmology Unit of Policlinico San Pietro.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1986 with top honors and specialized in Ophthalmology at the Milan Eye Clinic in 1990.
Throughout his professional career, he has engaged in outpatient and surgical activities, as well as in emergency care.
Dr. Scullica has extensive experience in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and anterior segment surgery, in the diagnosis and surgery of lacrimal pathways, treatment of the anophthalmic socket, and procedures for evisceration and enucleation. He is also skilled in diagnosing and surgically treating eyelid malpositions, ptosis, tumors, and eyelid reconstructions.
He has participated in numerous conferences on these topics, often as a speaker, and is the author of several publications.
