Francesco Buschini
Biography
Dr. Francesco Buschini is an orthopedic surgeon with the Advanced Minimally Invasive Prosthetic Reconstruction Orthopedics Team (OPRAM) at the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio and the OPRAM - Advanced Minimally Invasive Robotic Prosthetic Orthopedics Center at Policlinico San Pietro.
In 2013, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome Sapienza, and in 2020, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University Campus Biomedico of Rome.
During his specialization, he completed several fellowships:
- At the Knee Surgery Unit of the Casa di Cura Città di Parma.
- At Villa Stuart Clinic in Rome, participating in knee surgery and outpatient activities.
- In orthopedic emergency services and trauma surgery at the San Giovanni Calibita Fatebenefratelli Hospital and the Policlinico Casilino in Rome.
From 2020 to 2022, he worked as an Orthopedic Surgeon and Medical Director in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department at Policlinico Casilino in Rome, focusing primarily on trauma, knee and hip prosthetic surgery, and sports traumatology.
Dr. Buschini specializes in treating degenerative articular pathologies of the knee and hip, performing knee and hip prosthetic surgeries. He is also involved in sports traumatology, conducting surgeries for Achilles tendon ruptures and arthroscopic knee surgeries for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and meniscal tear treatment.
Throughout his career, he has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, and continuing education courses related to prosthetic surgery, arthroscopy, and reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee. He has authored several publications in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
