Francesca Amann

Dr. Francesca Amann is a pulmonologist at Smart Clinic.

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Insubria in Varese in 2004, where she later specialized in Respiratory Diseases in 2012. After completing her specialization, she was awarded a research fellowship at the same university, focusing on the early diagnosis of lung cancer at the Thoracic Surgery Center.

Throughout her professional career, from 2018 to 2020, Dr. Amann served as a Clinical Manager, overseeing the care of chronic patients and actively collaborating with regional networks that support vulnerable populations.

Her commitment to staying updated in clinical practice has led her to deepen her knowledge in areas such as pleural drainage, respiratory rehabilitation, lung infections, and sleep-related breathing disorders by attending conferences across Europe and the United States. Additionally, she was invited as a lecturer at the "Update in General Medicine" held in Como in 2015.
