Franca Paola Marchesini

Dr. Franca Paola Marchesini is a gynecologist at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Unit of Villa Erbosa.  

After earning her degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 1981, she specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Verona in 1986.  

Dr. Marchesini is an expert in gynecology and reproductive pathophysiology. She also specializes in endocrinological gynecology and manages conditions related to hypoestrogenism.  

At the gynecology outpatient clinic, she provides contraception services, including the insertion of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and subcutaneous implants, and performs Pap smears, swabs, and HPV tests.  

She also conducts:

• Colposcopy exams and cervical and endometrial biopsies
• DTC therapy for cervical conditions and treatment of condylomas and papillomas
• Gynecological endoscopy, including hysteroscopy and laparoscopy

Dr. Marchesini actively participates in national and international congresses in the field.
