Federico Calabrò

Dr. Federico Calabrò is an orthopedic surgeon in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit at Policlinico San Marco and Smart Clinic.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2012, where he also completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology with honors in 2018. During his specialist training, he gained experience through a few months at the Helios Klinikum Berlin Buch in Berlin.

In 2023, Dr. Calabrò earned a Master's degree in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery from Unicamillus (International Medical University) in Rome.

In the field of orthopedics and traumatology, he engages in both clinical and surgical activities. He performs general trauma surgeries and focuses on shoulder and knee pathologies, with a particular interest in prosthetic surgery. He also treats patients with spine and hip issues and is involved in sports traumatology. Additionally, he collaborates in the surgical and scientific activities of the department.

Dr. Calabrò regularly participates in update courses and conferences related to upper and lower limb pathology.

He is the author and co-author of scientific articles, posters, and conference presentations published in national and international journals.
