Federico Biondi
Biography
Dr. Federico Biondi is the Head of the Orthopedics Unit 9 at Villa Erbosa in Bologna.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 2002. In 2007, he completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Bologna. Since 2003, he has been registered with the Medical Board of Forlì-Cesena, number 04326.
Throughout his career, he has served as a First-Level Medical Officer in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in Bologna.
Since 2022, he has been responsible for the Orthopedics Unit 9 at Villa Erbosa.
As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Biondi has performed over 3,500 orthopedic and traumatology surgeries from 2009 to the present, with particular focus on:
- Prosthetic and revision surgery of the hip and knee
- Traumatology
- Conservative knee surgery
He is the author or co-author of numerous scientific publications in indexed specialty journals regarding hip prosthetic surgery.
He has also gained experience in tutoring students in the Medical and Surgery Degree program and for Medical Specialists in Orthopedics and Traumatology.
