Fabrizio Bonetti
Biography
Dr. Fabrizio Bonetti is in charge of the outpatient Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Service of the Cardiology Unit directed by Professor Alberto Margonato.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1983, he specialized in Endocrinology at the University of Pavia in 1986 and later, in 1990, he specialized in Cardiology at the University of Milan.
From 1992 to 1995, he develops ReST (Rehabilitation and Safe Training) project used in the outpatient Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Service of Ospedale San Raffaele. In 1996, he becomes the head of this Service.
Clinical practice is focused on prevention and diagnostics, as well as nutrition and physical exercise for heart health. He also performs cardiorespiratory evaluations.
Currently, in collaboration with the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Ospedale San Raffaele, he is engaged in important research work on the effects of physical training in healthy subjects (control group) and multiple sclerosis patients.
He is the author and co-author of 67 publications in specialized scientific journals and book chapters.
