Biography

Dr. Elena Stefani is a physiatrist at the Rehabilitation Unit of the Istituto Clinico Città di Brescia.

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 1985. In 1989, she specialized in Allergology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Milan.

After her degree, in 1987, she worked in the Immunogenetics department at the S. Martino Hospital in Genoa, focusing on the production of human monoclonal anti-idiotypic antibodies. In 1988, she continued her work in the Immunogenetics department at Columbia University in New York, again concentrating on human monoclonal anti-idiotypic antibody production.

From 1988 to 2001, she worked at the RSA (Residential Health Facility) in Ghedi (BS) as a medical director and physician. From 2005 to 2015, she worked as a geriatric physician at the RSA in Castenedolo (BS).

Dr. Stefani's practice has always focused on rehabilitation. For several years, she was involved in cardiorespiratory rehabilitation. However, for more than a decade, she has concentrated on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, with a particular emphasis on geriatric patients.
