Elena Sereni
Biography
Dr. Elena Sereni is a dermatologist at the Istituto Clinico San Rocco.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 2008. The same year, she passed the state exam and has been a registered member of the Medical Board of the Province of Brescia since 2008.
In 2014, she obtained her specialization in Dermatology and Venereology from the University of Pavia.
From 2008 to 2014, Dr. Sereni worked in the Department of General Surgery II at Spedali Civili, first as a medical student and then as a specialist in training. During this time, she provided clinical and therapeutic care for surgical oncology patients, managing pre-operative surgical assessments, conducting surgeries as both the primary and secondary operator, and overseeing post-operative care.
From 2007 to 2014, she was actively involved in the Dermatology Department at Spedali Civili, focusing on activities at the Oncology Dermatology Referral Center, Surgical Dermatology, Laser Treatment, and Phototherapy outpatient clinics.
In 2012, Dr. Sereni represented Italy at the Excellence 2012 course in Rome, where she obtained the Euroderm Excellence diploma.
From January 2016 to June 2019, she participated in laser therapy courses for the use of cutting-edge laser equipment in various clinical dermatological applications.
Currently, at Istituto Clinico San Rocco, Dr. Sereni works as an outpatient specialist, focusing on clinical dermatology. She is dedicated to the prevention and early diagnosis of neoplastic lesions, the subsequent surgical process, and related follow-up care, including nevus mapping.
From 2009 to 2014, she participated in numerous clinical trials as a co-investigator and has attended over 200 national and international conferences or courses.
