Doris Maria Mascheroni
Biography
Dr. Doris Maria Mascheroni is the Head of the Department of Medicine, the Sub-Acute Unit, and the Oncology and Hematology Service at the Istituto Clinico Villa Aprica in Como, where she also manages the Oncoesthetics laboratory.
She holds a diploma in Complex Hospital Management and teaches at LUDES University in Lugano. She is a speaker at numerous medical and managerial conferences, including international ones, covering topics such as quality, safety, and risk management.
The Istituto Clinico Villa Aprica received the "pink sticker" from O.N.D.A as a "Hospital for Women and Vulnerable Groups" for the years 2010-2011, 2012-2013, 2014-2015, and 2016-2018. She has received recognition for humanitarian activities in Italy and Africa. She has numerous publications in specialized journals, such as The Journal of Clinical Oncology and Tumori, and has presented abstracts at international conferences (Stockholm, San Francisco, etc.).
