Biography
Dr. Dimitrios Patronis is an orthopedic surgeon at the Orthopedic Unit 5 of Villa Erbosa in Bologna.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University "G. D'Annunzio" of Chieti in 2000 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the General Hospital of Patras (Greece) - a Reference Center for Spinal Surgery.
From 2011 to 2021, he served as a Medical Director in the National Health Service in Veneto, particularly in recent years at the "Regional Center of Veneto Specialized in Spinal Surgery" of the Integrated University Hospital of Verona.
Dr. Patronis has participated in numerous theoretical and practical advanced courses on Spinal Surgery, particularly within the scientific contexts of AO Spine and the Eurospine Foundation, achieving the European Spine Course Diploma in 2014.
He currently treats all spinal pathologies, focusing particularly on the management of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and adult degenerative scoliosis. He conducts specialized outpatient visits and telemedicine consultations for spinal disorders.
