Davide Di Santo

Biography

Dr. Davide Di Santo is an otolaryngologist in the ENT Department at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele under the supervision of Professor Mario Bussi.

After graduating in 2012 from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the Vita Salute San Raffaele University of Milan, he specialized in otolaryngology in 2018 at the same university. The doctor also conducts internships abroad in Belgium and Taiwan to improve knowledge in the field of oncological and reconstructive surgery in the head and neck.

From a clinical point of view, Dr. Di Santo deals in general with all pathologies, including children's, related to the field of otorhinolaryngology, i.e. pathologies of the nose and paranasal sinuses, ears and hearing, balance, thyroid gland. In addition, special attention is paid to: benign and malignant tumor pathology of the head and neck, reconstructive techniques of the head and neck, pathology of the salivary glands and sleep and swallowing disorders.

From a research point of view, the doctor conducts clinical research in the field of oncological pathology of the head and neck and tumors of the salivary glands.

He is the author and co-author of 14 publications in national and international scientific journals and book chapters. Its Hirsch index is 4. Permanent participant of national and international congresses.
