Dario Beretta

Dr. Dario Beretta has been the General Director of Istituto Clinico San Siro in Milan since 2010. In the same year, he was also appointed Director of the Specialist Rehabilitation Department at the same institute.

He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1975. Six years later, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same university. In 2000, he completed an additional specialization in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, again at the University of Milan.

Between 2010 and 2014, Dr. Beretta reinforced his strong connection with the San Donato Hospital Group, a relationship that began in 1989. From 2010, he served as Vice President of Istituti Clinici Sant’Ambrogio and San Siro S.p.A., and from 2014, of Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi S.p.A., gaining extensive experience within the Group.

Central to his professional journey are numerous medical initiatives and activities that he has been involved with since 2011 through AIOP (Associazione Italiana Ospedalità Privata) in the Lombardy region, where he serves as President.
