Daniele Marcolli
Biography
Dr. Daniele Marcolli works as a foot orthopedic surgeon at Casa di Cura La Madonnina.
After earning his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Insubria in 2006, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same university in 2012, also attending the Orthopedic Clinic at the Varese Hospital. In 2014, 2016, and 2019, he was a Visiting Fellow at the Foot and Ankle Surgery Clinic in Schwarzenbruck, Germany.
In 2018, he also participated in a specific training course with Dr. David Refdern to deepen and learn the MICA technique, a procedure he regularly uses for the percutaneous treatment of hallux valgus.
In addition to his work at Casa di Cura La Madonnina, since November 2023, he also works at the Istituto Ortopedico G. Pini in Milan as the reference specialist for Ankle and Foot Surgery.
Since 2021, he has been a Contract Professor at the University of Milan for the School of Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology.
Dr. Marcolli is a member of major national (SICP) and international (EFAS) scientific societies. Over the years, he has participated as a teacher, speaker, and moderator at congresses and training courses at major hospital and university centers in Italy, as well as in Spain, Belgium, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, England, Hungary, Portugal, and Switzerland.
He is involved in research, having published articles in scientific journals since 2010. Over the years, he has also served as a reviewer and is an Associate Editor for the *Foot and Ankle Surgery Journal*.

- Lateral ray pathology (metatarsalgia and toe deformities, such as bunionettes)

- Tarsal tunnel syndrome
For the ankle, his areas of expertise include:

- Treatment of osteoarthritis using both regenerative medicine techniques and arthrodesis/arthroplasty

He also specializes in Sports Medicine, with regenerative therapy for Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, and ligament injuries.
