Dr. Cristina Ripa is an oncologist in the Oncology Units at Policlinico San Pietro and Policlinico San Marco.
She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1995, where she also completed her specialization in Oncology in 2001.
In 2008, she earned a diploma in Regulatory Medicine and Complementary Medicine from the University of Milan.
During her studies, Dr. Ripa was involved in clinical and research activities focused on chemoimmunotherapy for renal carcinoma and melanoma, while also working in the emergency department at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital in Milan. She further enhanced her expertise at the Radiotherapy Department of the University of Milan and in the Bone Marrow Transplantation and High-Dose Therapy Section of the National Cancer Institute in Milan.
Throughout her career in various hospitals across Lombardy, Dr. Ripa initially specialized in oncohematological malignancies (high-dose therapy, bone marrow transplantation, biological therapies) and the management of oncological emergencies. Over time, she has focused primarily on treating breast cancer in women, particularly in younger and older age groups.
Building on her experience and her studies in Oncology Nutrition and Complementary Medicine, Dr. Ripa has developed a personalized outpatient consultation practice. This involves creating tailored care and rehabilitation plans for patients during and after their oncology treatments.
From 2012 to 2017, she studied dance therapy using the Maria Fux method, designed for individuals with disabilities. This approach aims to help patients of all ages transform fragility into a source of change, growth, and strength.
From 2014 to 2016, she was a member of AMeC (Association of Medicine and Complexity).
