Cristina Beretta

Dr. Cristina Beretta is a physiatrist at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit at Istituto Clinico San Siro.

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1999. She specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2003 and obtained her medical license and registration with the Lecco Medical Association in 2000.

Since 2009, she has worked as a medical assistant and later as a senior physician at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit at Multimedica Holding, with locations in Limbiate and Sesto San Giovanni.

Since December 2009, Dr. Beretta has also been a senior physician at Istituto Clinico San Siro, where she is involved in ward activities, research, and outpatient services.

Dr. Beretta provides outpatient physiatric consultations in orthopedics, rheumatology, and neurology. She also performs focal shockwave therapy and lumbar paravertebral injections with ozone therapy.

Since 2018, she has been a researcher at Istituto Clinico San Siro in the field of rehabilitation.

Since 2014, she has been a Founding Member and Board Member of the Association of Rehabilitation Specialists (ARSOP), which was renamed SSR (Scientific Society of Rehabilitation) in 2019.
