Chiara Maria Cazzaniga
Biography
Dr. Chiara Maria Cazzaniga is a vascular surgeon at the Vascular Surgery Unit of the Istituto di Cura Città di Pavia and at the Istituto Clinico Beato Matteo in Vigevano.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan Bicocca in 2004. She completed her specialization in Vascular Surgery with top marks at the University of Pavia in 2009.
Since 2008, Dr. Cazzaniga has focused on vascular diagnostic ultrasound for the neck, limbs, and abdomen.
In 2009, she was awarded a scholarship titled “New Systems for Early Diagnosis and Prevention of Organ Damage (bone marrow, renal, and visceral) in the Course of Thoracic and Thoracoabdominal Aorta Reconstruction” at the Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia, Vascular Surgery Division.
In 2010, she won a competitive position for a quarterly assignment in outpatient activities performed in a fee-based area at the Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia.
Since 2012, she has engaged in diagnostic and surgical activities at various facilities.
Currently, Dr. Cazzaniga holds the position of assistant at the Vascular Surgery Unit of the Istituto di Cura Città di Pavia.
Dr. Cazzaniga treats all vascular conditions, both venous and arterial, managing patients throughout their entire care pathway, from diagnosis to medical and surgical treatment, including both endovascular and traditional approaches.
