Chiara Maria Antonioli
Biography
Dr. Chiara Maria Antonioli is the Head of the Orthopedic Rehabilitation Unit at the Istituto Clinico Città di Brescia.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 1997, where she later specialized in Clinical Immunology and Allergology in 2001.
From 1998-1999 and 2000-2001, she served as a lecturer for elective courses in allergology for medical students at the University of Brescia. From 2001 to 2004, Dr. Antonioli worked as a freelance professional at the Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology Service of the Spedali Civili di Brescia.
Since 2004, she has been a rehabilitation physician at the Functional Rehabilitation Unit of the Istituto Clinico Città di Brescia, where she also manages outpatient services in Clinical Immunology, Rheumatology, and Rheumatologic Rehabilitation.
Dr. Antonioli also specializes in adult rheumatic diseases and rehabilitation following rheumatic and orthopedic conditions.
She is the co-author of several scientific publications on the rehabilitation of systemic sclerosis and an informative booklet for patients affected by systemic sclerosis. Additionally, she has served as a co-supervisor for theses by physiotherapy students focused on the rehabilitation of rheumatic diseases at the University of Brescia. Dr. Antonioli is also a lecturer at conferences for physiotherapists and doctors on the topic of systemic sclerosis rehabilitation. She is a co-author of the book Rehabilitation of Rheumatic Diseases: An Integrated Approach, published by EDRA.
